3 Day Course
This qualification ensures you are up-to-date with the latest industry regulation on wiring and the safe use and operation of electrical equipment and systems. It covers the 17th edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations, which came into force in June 2008. These regulations are recognised by the British Standards Institute as a British Standard (BS7671).
Who should attend?
If you’re a practising electrician, you must comply with the regulations for electrical work, this qualification is designed to provide those seeking progression in their career with the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to carry out job roles and responsibilities associated with the Electrotechnical industry.

Delegates will be assessed throughout the course up to the online exam by practical exercises and homework. The course can be intense it will include evening work on your part by revise of the 17th edition book and practise exams.
The online examination is undertaken on the afternoon of the last day.
You will need the following on the training course:
1. Scientific calculator
2. Copy of bs7671 17th edition wiring regulations incorporating amendment 3 ( Yellow book)
3. Copy of Onsite guide
On successful completion of the course and online exam delegates will receive a EAL accredited certificate.

The exam consists of the two hour multiply choice exam this exam is open book so allows you to reference the 17th edition wiring regulations 2008 and then incorporating amendment 3 (2015).
